I GOTcha u with my reCAPTCHA – anywhere…

The most expensive and annoying invention of the www, at least since each one has the impression “to have one makes a site secure”???

A litte estimation of wasted world-wide efford within one hour only:

f(x) = t * n * x

x := number of access to pages

n := number of ordeal, the number of reCAPTHAS you have to answer on each

t := average time to answer one reCAPTCHA

this makes worldwide e.g. for 1h of worldwide access

x := 1.000.000 pages accessed by all users within one hour

n := 3 average number of captchas to answer

t := 5sec average time for each

f(1.000.000) = 3 * 5 * 1.000.000 = 15.000.000 sec = 4.167h

So within one hour in average 4167 hours of effort in total are just wasted!!!

And it even does not help at all for what it was foreseen!!!

The invention of a genius, of course.

A nice quote…

The Israelites looked at Goliath and moaned, “He is so big! How can we ever defeat him?” David looked at Goliath and exclaimed, “He is so big! How could I ever miss?”

Prep-Studies for the application of Custom-Automata

Found a nice work, which has basically a similar structure I am going to design, even though it is a little study only. The most tools I found when trying to get an impression of the current degree of tools miss a clear and lean pragmatic design. But focus on the ingenuity of the state machine design. I need s.th. for dummies…. 😎

Downloaded it, added some UnitTests and did some fixes.

Analysing:

“SMC”: http://smc.sourceforge.net/

Seems to be a good starting point for the compilation of various types of automata into several languages.

Prep-Studies for the application of Custom-Automata

Analysed, forked, and slightly modified

“Qfsm” : http://qfsm.sourceforge.net/

Seems to be a good base for an easily applicable automata designer. Usable for dailz business.

The challenges of OpenSource donations in contrast to the Bible

No comment required for unfair competition and theft of intellectual property…

Thus had to change the license by a peer-to-peer fairplay amendment. The current version applied to all my projects is e.g.:

This in particular includes concepts and technical design, the code too of course. Thus burns-in the authors name and provides a serious hammer to constraint trolls. Both almost  bullet-proof.

It may eventually not provide an IP which could be sold. BUT you can elminate the required IP protection by prooving the first-time invention  and eliminate their financial protection including holding their customers viable – so blowing up the stolen property. Just make it clear 😎 and stay determined ➡ .
